Alicia and Joe (I call him Spencer). We got ourselves into this whole mess when we fell in 2007, and tied the knot two years later. We’ve got some pretty incredible kids. You should read about them.
Mary came with the package. She is my step-kid, she is her father’s sidekick, and she is AMAZING. I use all caps because Mary is an all caps kind of girl. She is a dangerous combination of beauty and wide-ranging talent. Kind of the wildflower of the bunch, she is adventurous and strong and accordingly difficult at times. Spencer and I are raising her on our own, and bracing ourselves for the impending teenage years ahead.
Matthew is our Little Man of the house, though there isn’t much little about him beyond his size. He is our extraordinary gifted learner with a heart of solid gold and budding appetite for adventure. He is incredibly loyal, a little bull-headed, and would follow his father right off of a bridge. On second thought, Spencer would probably do the same. Calling this kid our pride and joy is barely scraping the surface.
Bringing up the rear is our darling daughter, Scarlett “Pipsqueak” Stucky. She’s our little flower: dainty, poised and strikingly beautiful far beyond her years. She, in line with the others, has a temper that already keeps us on our toes. If she ever grows into her personality, she will no doubt be a force to be reckoned with. She is the soft spot in all of our hearts.
What We're Reading This Week!
Every week Little Dude and I take one or more of our favorite reads for the week and make them into an activity or craft. These were some of our recent favorites -- check them out for yourself!
